I've found it useful to macro just about every one of my main attacks for Bard to utilize certain cooldowns and procs that the Job has to offer. Here is a list of the macros I use.

You can also utilize your songs into macros, but I haven't done that yet. It's also useful for healers or even dps/tanks that rely on TP to make macros calling for specific songs so the bard can get an audible cue in-game when to sing.

I open with this for the 20% dex increase and 100% chance to hit as well to increase my crit rate by 10% always keep this up hawks eye will always proc 1st off cd.

I chose to use this second so it on cd faster always use off cd also i put barrage in there for spike dmg

I chose to add rageing strikes to this so my dots do more dmg and im not pilling up buffs on a single macro, also keep up always it will give a chance for Bloodletter to be of cd

Basically you want to keep strait shot and your dots up and spam heavy shot and Bloodletter when off cd.. =P
