Anyone playing on this setup? I have the PS4 , also have a Vita. I don't want to pay for a second account just yet, but would like to see if playing on the Vita is a royal pain because of screen size or wonderful freedom, to move around your house and still be in-game / active. From what I seen on youtube video's of it, just don't really show me what I want to know "that well", I would like to actually talk to and get 1st hand experience of this.

Comments?

I'm actually curious myself. I still plan on getting a ps4 hoping for smoother transitions and better load time and i hear that that has gotten a lot better but i was going to wait it out til after the ps4 beta. I've heard some complaints about 90ks and getting them more often and i'm sure that has everything to do with working the kinks out of beta.

I honestly had to Google exactly what the hell a Vita was the other day since someone in the FC said they were on one (can't remember who) and I had a couple people I was trying to recruit say they were playing on a Vita so they declined.

yeah you can play on vita remotely with ps4 on. it is not recommended for very active stuff like primal ex of course. i have the ps4 and vita but i havent tried it myself as of yet. Also yoshida did video of it on one of his live letters.

It may have been me you heard saying I was on the vita. I linked my PC account to my PS4, and can play over any platform now.

Here are my thoughts on the vita remote play option. The touch sensors on the back of the vita are aggravating. Chat is damn near impossible to read. Trying to do anything with the pointer will make you cross-eyes. BUT Crafting, gathering, fishing, etc. This is a great tool, you can sit on the couch and watch TV, sit outside (depending on your wifi's reach), etc. I would not recommend running dungeon, but thats not to say it can't be done.

Im about to get the borderlands 2 vita when it comes out so I'm glad this post is here. I'm excited to do some crafting while watching Netflix. It sounds awesome :)

@fobnel yes, i was mostly interested on it for fishing. i was pretty sure it was gonna be bad for other stuff but i've played phantasy star online 2 on the vita and it plays quite good(for a mmo) but, of course, it was optimized for it. There is also a post of someone using android remote desktop for fishing but im sure it would be a pain just to set it up lol.

@luvbun i have 2 monitors so i fish while i watch netflix on the other.
